I have to admit, it took me a bit to get used to crop tops. I’ve always been kind of self conscious about my mid-area (homegirl likes to eat, okay?) but I’ve finally embraced them! I don’t really like to expose my stomach much, but with high waisted skirts, pants and shorts being so trendy it works! The moral of the story is, just because you think you can’t “pull off” a trend, get creative and make it work!
I love this amazing crop top from Riley Clay because it’s CRAZY comfortable and will pair with just about anything. I decided to go with a tulle skirt because they’re so fun, breezy and on trend. I have SO many ideas for styling this bad boy so you’ll probably see it make quite a few appearances.

I had such a fun time exploring Dallas with K Cerise Photography, make sure to check them out – especially if you’re in the Dallas area! Deep Ellum was the perfect backdrop for this all black outfit.

I feel you on the crop tops, but totally have embraced it fully. You don’t have to show your midriff and you made this look so damn edgy! LOVE IT!
Thanks boo, glad I’m not alone! High waisted skirts and shorts are my bff.
