I know things have been a little heavy around here lately so I thought it might be fun to accompany this American Horror Story Coven inspired look with a little list of spooky Halloween movies I put together! I’m not into SUPER scary movies so you won’t find too many of those on there – definitely let me know if I’m missing anything major….bonus points if it’s on streaming devices!

Shop this Sisterhood tee on the Fiercely site by clicking here!

Netflix:

  • The Shining
  • The Conjuring
  • The Witch
  • Little Evil
  • The Babysitter (a fun little creepy teen movie, if that’s your thing)
  • The Babadook
  • It Follows
  • Coraline
  • Little Monsters
  • American Horror Story seasons (Murder House and Coven are my faves if you’re looking for a starting point)

Hulu:

  • Shutter Island
  • Blair Witch Project
  • The Others
  • Boo: A Madea Halloween (I’m so sorry, but I really want to see this one)

Hulu Live only:

  • The Addams Family
  • Monster House
  • Sweeney Todd
  • Maleficent
  • Warm Bodies
  • Halloweentown

Amazon Prime:

  • Paranormal Activity
  • Jaws

HBO Go/HBO Now:

  • Corpse Bride
  • The Mummy
  • It
  • The Silence of the Lambs

Don’t forget, you can get your own spooky Sisterhood tee here!

Not on streaming (that I can find):

  • Scream/Scream 2
  • Halloween
  • Hocus Pocus
  • Edward Scissorhands
  • Nightmare Before Christmas

What are you watching this October? Y’all pray for my husband this month because he HATES scary movies lol!

  1. Such a great idea for a post! I’ve hardly done anything festive this month so I hope I can squeeze in a spooky movie. I know this is a first world problem but it’s hard to keep track of where you can watch things, ha. I really wish Scream was available somewhere! Love the setting of these photos too, so pretty.
