This post is part of a collaboration with Blue Flame Boudoir. The photos are semi-risque but no nudity. Just a warning since that’s not my normal content 🙂
Ohhhh y’all. I’m equal parts stoked and TERRIFIED to post these photos! I actually got them back about a month ago and have been working on this blog post since then, trying to psych myself up for it. I’m a relatively modest person, but I also believe that women should be able to express themselves however they want. When Denver boudoir photographer Mackenzie of Blue Flame Boudoir approached me about collaborating for these photos I was SO excited but, as mentioned above….TERRIFIED.
“What….are….goals?” That’s basically how I’ve been operating lately, y’all. I was definitely overzealous when I made my April small goals, lol. I had a GREAT month – it was my birthday month, I got to go to Texas and I met freaking Jeff Goldblum….seriously, I was living my best life. But I also learned something about myself, it’s not easy for me to take care of my “extra work” when I’m in Texas. Lesson learned.
Earth Day was this past Sunday and, in traditional Valery fashion, I totally forgot about it until the day of and I DEFINITELY didn’t think to prep a post about sustainability practices. But, my husband and I have worked really hard the last few years to be more sustainable and, even though I’m late, I want to share a little bit about my journey. I don’t claim to be a “sustainable blogger” because I have a LOT to work on, but I believe in baby steps and gradual growth so I thought maybe sharing some our easy sustainability practices might inspire you to make the same changes!
