I don’t know about you guys, but I am seriously NOT ready for winter to be over. It’s not that I particularly love winter weather, but this year in Dallas we basically didn’t have a winter. I might have already said this on the blog but I only got to wear my faux fur coat like twice and I’m real salty about it. Thank goodness I escaped to Denver and Chicago in January so I at least got a taste of snowy weather!
Even though the temperatures are rising (I think it’s supposed to be in the mid EIGHTIES today), I’m working on finding ways to cling to clothing typically reserved for cooler temperatures. One of my favorite ways to do that is throwing on this military jacket. It’s not lined so it’s not too warm but it does keep me from getting too chilly, especially at night.
This cheeky Star Wars/Ren and Stimpy has been on nonstop rotation the last few months. There’s something so fun about a silly graphic t, especially to lounge around in or run errands. Throw on a finishing piece (blazer, vest, military jacket, denim jacket) and you’ve got a look that’s fun, casual, but still pulled together.
I had to finish out the look with combat boots as a nod to the 90s (duh) AND my girl, Rey. I almost made this into a post that was all about Rey but I didn’t really want to tap into strong feelings tonight annnnnd I’ve already got another post planned about a fictional feminist character so, ya know, trying to keep it interesting around here.
